TOP MOBILE OS
Tizen Operating System
Tizen is a new open source Operating System initiative by Intel and Samsung. It can be seen as a replacement for MeeGo based on more modern and open Standards such as HTML5 and Wholesale Applications Community (WAC). Tizen Apps will be created with the latest and most versatile standards. The system will run across a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, smart-TVs, netbooks and in-car infotainment systems and more. Tizen offers an innovative operating system, applications, and a user experience that consumers can take from device to device. Computer Hardware brands like Asus and Acer have already joined the Tizen movement, other smartphone manufacturers like HTC and open source users are expected to join very soon.
Ubuntu Touch
Ubuntu Touch is a Operating System for mobile device and a touch-friendly desktop Unity interface. It is based on various software frameworks originally developed for Maemo and MeeGo such as oFono as telephony stack, accounts-sso for single sign-on, and Maliit for input. Utilizing the Linux system kernels used in Android, which makes it easily ported to most recent Android smartphones

It lets Android and Ubuntu share the same Linux kernel, so they can run at the same time – Android for the phone experience and Ubuntu when docked. Sailfish OS
Sailfish is a Linux-based mobile device operating system developed by Jolla in cooperation with the Mer project and supported by the Sailfish Alliance. It is to be used in upcoming smartphones by Jolla and other licensees. Sailfish OS is mobile-optimized with the flexibility, ubiquity and stability of the Linux core and a cutting edge user experience built with the renowned Qt™ platform. Sailfish OS is set out to be a real alternative. It is independent, open, partner friendly, and created by a team with credible track record, now working at Jolla Ltd. Jolla is set to create an ecosystem unlike others around Sailfish OS and welcomes everyone to join the voyage.
One of the pillar technologies used by the Sailfish OS is the Qt application framework, an incredibly powerful cross-platform set of libraries for writing complex, user centric applications. The Qt framework gives the Sailfish OS a powerful user experience design language known as QML.
Firefox OS
Firefox OS is a Linux-based open-source operating system, under the project 'Boot to Gecko', for mobile devices including smartphones and tablet computers. It is being developed by Mozilla foundation, which is known for its most popular Firefox web browser.
Firefox OS uses a Linux kernel and boots into a Gecko-based runtime engine, which lets users run applications developed entirely using HTML, JavaScript, and other open web application APIs.
Android OS
Android is a Linux-based operating system initially developed by Android, Inc. It is designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.
